Famous for their hand-pulled noodles, Seli’s Noodle provided the perfect respite after a day of sightseeing in Ghent.
Seated and served by the attentive Seli herself, my meal began with a serving of shrimp chips.
They were such a delightful, fun way to start the meal that I instantly looked forward to the main course. But those thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of the plumpest little dim sum arrangement. A display of assorted dumplings stuffed with beef, pork and vegetables, I dipped in the accompanying homemade sauces and hungrily ate them one after the other.
The noodles, made-to-order and coated in a light sauce, were presented with strips of chicken and a mix of crisp vegetables. The serving size was more than ample leaving me the option of walking out with a doggie bag.
The Good:
- Quick (but not rushed), friendly service.
- Great value.
- Delicious food.
The Bad:
- Not an issue for me, but cash is the only form of payment.
The Ugly:
- None
